Absolute beginner's guide to Beekeeping

If you've ever been interested in learning more about bees, or are thinking of keeping some hives yourself, this one day course will give an insight into the life of bees and beekeepers through the seasons. This course will cover honey bee lifecycles, behaviour, hives, history of beekeeping, equipment, diseases, harvesting wax and honey. We will consider conventional approaches to beekeeping and also touch on alternative "natural" beekeeping approaches.

We will not be working with live bees
